The 1983 Major League Baseball All-Star Game featured the all-stars of the American League and National League. The game was held on July 6, 1983, at Comiskey Park in Chicago, Illinois, the home of the Chicago White Sox of the American League. The game resulted in the American League defeating the National League 13-3. The game occurred exactly 50 years to the date of the first All-Star game. Angels outfielder Fred Lynn was named MVP.
