Yankee Stadium bottom of the ninth, one on, two out and the Royals trail by just one. Who steps to the plate, George Brett. Goose Gossage tosses one of his patented pitches and Brett connects on a two-run homer to put the Royals ahead 5-4. Yankee skipper Billy Martin was just waiting to spring the pine tar rule on someone and Brett was the man. After ruled out because of too much pine tar, Brett goes crazy on the field. Later the game was replayed and the Royals prevailed. George Brett shows that he loves his bat very much after all.
This is a great piece to have showing Brett "calmly" discusing the situation. Later a pose with a pine tared bat and a big grin. Also comes with a piece of bat Brett used in a game too.
